Starfield Achieves 10 Million Players

Bethesda has announced that their latest game, the space-exploration adventure Starfield, has achieved over ten million players, further solidifying it as the developer’s biggest launch of all time. This news follows the title reaching six million players feat.

It goes without saying that this launch has been quite a massive hit for Xbox and Bethesda, so congratulations to them. The growth has no sign of stopping.

Starfield takes place in the 2300s, following a Colony War between the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective. Players will make their own characters who are part of the space explorer organization Constellation and navigate the uneasy peace that has come as a result of the bloody Colony War. Starfield has also been available on Xbox Game Pass since launch day.

The game is highly reminiscent of previous Bethesda releases, having players ultimately craft a narrative of their own making while following story threads that culminate into something bigger. Starfield boasts a particularly robust scale of exploration to help achieve this immersive feat, alongside an inventive new game plus system that will assuredly keep players around for years upon years.
