Star Wars: Squadrons – The Mandalorian DLC Cosmetic Items Announced
During today’s Mando Monday’s launch event, Electronic Arts, Motive and Lucasfilm announced Star Wars: Squadrons will be receiving an update with earnable in-game items based off of the popular Star Wars T.V. show on Disney Plus, The Mandalorian. The update will be going live on October 28. This promotional update is taking place in order to celebrate the show’s second season releasing on October 30th.
On October 28, players of Star Wars: Squadrons can unlock a total of eight types of new cosmetic items that are all based off of the first season of The Mandalorian T.V. show. These cosmetic items are all free, and consist of cockpit cosmetics for each faction, including one hologram, one decal, one dashboard flair and one hanging flair, for both Imperial and New Republic starfighters. The Mysterious Creature bobblehead to adorn any New Republic starfighter dashboard is also included.
Star Wars: Squadrons has players be pilots, controlling their own starfighters across the skies of the Star Wars universe. This title features both a story driven campaign, as well as a multiplayer space battle mode where you can fight alongside your squadron to take out enemy fleets. VR is also included, though not required for the experience.
