Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake May Be on The Verge of Cancellation After Posts and Trailers are Removed

In July, publisher Aspyr Media announced that their Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake project has been delayed indefinitely. After a handful of developers left the company, the development was handed over to Saber Interactive, who has worked on games such as Space Marine 2 and World War Z.

However, it seems like things have gone from bad to worse after multiple social media posts and trailers have been removed from platform holders. X user @Crusader3456 shared multiple screenshots of social media posts from Playstation along with deleted trailers.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake was meant to be a complete remake of the classic RPG to be released on PlayStation 5 and PC, but it’s been through development hell after it failed to impress Lucasart following three years of development.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was initially released in 2003 as a standout RPG giving players the chance to forge their own path through an engaging and memorable Star Wars narrative. This is a game that many players have been waiting for.
