Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Restored Content DLC Canceled for Switch; List of Free Replacement Games Available
Aspyr Media has revealed that the previously announced Restored Content DLC for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords on Nintendo Switch has been canceled. Unfortunately, no reason was given for this decision. For those unaware, this DLC restored the missing side and main content from the base game’s original release.
However, those who purchased Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords before this announcement was made can choose to receive a replacement key for any of the following titles as compensation:
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords on Steam
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Nintendo Switch
- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on Nintendo Switch
- Star Wars: Republic Commando on Nintendo Switch
- Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer on Nintendo Switch
- Star Wars: Jedi Knight Jedi Academy on Nintendo Switch
- Star Wars: Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast on Nintendo Switch
To receive your complimentary key, you must submit proof of Nintendo Switch purchase via Aspyr’s official support website. Showing the automated email you receive when you purchase a Switch game from the eShop will likely work as proof.
As disappointing as this cancelation is, it is at least neat that there’s such a wide array of free replacement titles to choose from.
