Publisher Electronic Arts has announced that the Respawn-developed action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has received its ninth major patch for PC. Various improvements have been added to performance and quality of life alongside removing Denuvo DRM.

Further, a PlayStation 5 update that will add saved data transfer from PlayStation 4 is in the works.

You can view the quoted patch notes for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor below:

    Performance Improvements:

    • Framerate improvements for various hardware configurations.
    • Fixes for several sources of framerate hitching for smoother gameplay.
    • Ray Tracing has been optimized for CPU usage and should now scale better for high-end GPUs.
    • Fixes for performance related to using a mouse as gameplay input.

    Quality of Life:

    • The “Optimizing Game Files” screen has been optimized and can now see speed increases from multiple CPU cores.
    • Mouse and keyboard functionality has been improved across a variety of menu screens, including the first time user screens, title menu, game menu, and workbench.

    Bug Fixes:

    • Fixed collision issue where players could fall through elevators at low framerates.
    • Fix for a conversation-related crash when walking away from NPC characters.
    • Fix for various, intermittent crashes.

    General:

    • Denuvo DRM has been removed.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor puts players in the role of Cal Kestis once again, five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. No longer a Padawan, Cal has grown into a Jedi Knight and continues his fight against the Empire.

Players will experience an enhanced cinematic combat system, which includes Lightsaber combos and force abilities. Additionally, there are ability upgrades that show Cal continues to find his power, with an added focus on exploration, where one can navigate dungeons and solve light puzzles to progress.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports will arrive next week.
