Playism announced that the JMJ Interactive developed calming adventure game Star Sky will launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop on May 23 for $4.99.
Star Sky takes place during the night and reveals its narrative through exploration. Players pretty much just walk under a starry night sky which will lead them to encounter something new. Although this is more or less the true definition of a “Walking Simulator” I don’t think that it’s trying to be anything more.
During certain areas of the game, players will be able to listen to the sounds of the night and witness strange events. The publisher mentions that this isn’t a game meant to be played intensely for hours, but instead, players should use it as a relaxing experience played at their own pace. During the game, players can walk around as much as they’d like, search for the scattered events, or even just stay still and listen to the sounds.

Author’s take: I get that some might not consider these games to be actual games, but someone out there might be looking for a nice calming experience so we hope that this finds that someone.
