Star Citizen Launches Alpha 3.9 ‘Locked Up & Loaded’ With Update Details

Cloud Imperium Games has launched a new update for their space-exploration project, Star Citizen, with Alpha 3.9: Locked Up & Loaded.

Alpha 3.9 allows players to experience more of the game as it nears completion, which doesn’t have a release date. However, that won’t stop the steady flow of content to players. With the update, players will find Klescher Automated Prison, where players will go for being unruly. To get out, they’ll have to do manual labor or make a daring escape.

“Our universe continues to evolve and grow, and through the release of Alpha 3.9: Locked Up & Loaded, our players will have the ability to experience more socially driven adventures fueled by exciting new gameplay additions and technology enhancements,” said Cloud Imperium Games CEO and Star Citizen Creative Director Chris Roberts. “Today’s launch is part of our continued commitment to deliver notable updates on a consistent basis that greatly improve the overall experience in Star Citizen, and we continue to be humbled by the overwhelming support from our active players and community who contribute in making Star Citizen a success.”

In addition to the prison, players will find a new mission titled The Price of Freedom along with a new Landing Zone in Babbage, which is located on microTech. The update also has a new ship, unified friends list, new weapon attachments, and a new player status system.

Star Citizen can be played from the developer’s website.
