SRPG ‘Langrisser I & II’ Gets New Character Trailer Focusing on the Sequel

NIS America launched a new trailer for the Chara-Ani-developed SRPG Langrisser I & II, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on March 10, in North America, and March 13 in Europe, and March 20 in Australia and New Zealand.

The trailer highlights characters from the Langrisser II and how the story and characters evolved from the first title. Players will be able to play through both titles in this collection as they build up their forces and take on some enormous battles.

Langrisser I & II is a collection of titles from an SRPG series that hasn’t really made a dent in the west, even though it is quite popular in the east. This collection of the games will tell the origin story of the series with high-definition visuals, reorchestrated music, and additional quality-of-life improvements to the gameplay and user experience that started this series.

Langrisser I follows the story after the forces of darkness descend over the kingdom of Baldea. Players will take their sword as Prince Ledin and fight toward discovering the source of the evil in the Dalsis empire.

Langrisser II sees a return of the darkness and follows the hero Elwn who attempts to navigate the war and determine which path to take that will lead him to peace during the conflict.
