Square Enix Reveals Tokyo Game Show 2021 Online Content Lineup and Schedule; Forspoken, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy, and More
Square Enix has officially revealed their schedule and overall content lineup for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2021. The English and Japanese versions schedule differ, with the primary difference being that the Japanese version has more exclusive content planned in it.
On Friday, October 1, is the Square Enix Presentation, the real show-stopper of their event, with some of Forspoken being shown later that same day. Then on Saturday, October 2, is even more Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Thankfully, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy is present that evening which is rather exciting as that title has been quiet since its demo earlier this year. There’s also a Jazz Painting. No idea what that is, but it sounds rad.
The Japanese schedule lists Dragon Quest X Offline and its online version having dedicated events alongside a slew of more minor showings spread throughout the course of the 3 days. It’s safe to say that the real meat of Square Enix’s TGS 2021 presence will be that initial presentation on Friday, October 1. Regardless of whatever is shown, there is still the element of the unknown, so expectations will assuredly rise higher and higher the closer we get to the event proper.
The English and Japanese schedules have their own separate pages.
Tokyo Game Show 2021 will be running from Thursday, September 30, to Sunday, October 3. You can view the overall schedule for the highly anticipated event here.
