Square Enix Shares Piano Cover of “Vague Hope” from NieR:Automata
Square Enix Music’s official YouTube channel has shared an official piano cover of a track from NieR:Automata titled “Vague Hope.” This emotional song is an environmental one, perfectly encapsulating the dreary solitude of the game’s depicted world.
Composed by Keigo Hoashi, Takurou Iga arranged and performed this piano cover. In addition, arrangements of “The Dark Colossus Destroys All,” “Song of the Ancients,” “Pascal,” and “Weight of the World” were previously shared by Square Enix.
You can listen to the piano cover of “Vague Hope” below:
- The NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a anime has been delayed again from episode nine onward.
- The NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a anime soundtrack will release in April 2023 with 15 tracks.
- Aniplex has shared the creditless opening and ending sequences for the NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a anime.
NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition is now available for Nintendo Switch worldwide. The first iteration of the game, simply NieR:Automata, is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC, with the Xbox version containing the colosseum DLC sans extra purchases.
The Switch version has a physical release with a reversible cover, and it is not a Cloud version. It includes all existing DLC and new NieR Replicant & Re[in]carnation costumes.
NieR:Automata was initially released in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC, with an Xbox One release in 2018. The game follows characters named 2B and 9S, who are agents of Yorha, an organization tasked with various combative and information-gathering missions. This entry became highly popularized for its storytelling and characters in a fusion of action, exploration, and shmup elements.
