Square Enix Shares Official Piano Cover of “Roman” from SaGa Frontier 2

The official Square Enix Music YouTube channel has uploaded a new official piano arrangement, this time from SaGa Frontier 2. Yui Morishita arranged and performed “Roman,” a track originally composed by Masashi Hamauzu. Further, Mai Kondo recorded and mixed this performance.

“Mißgestalt” from the same game received an official guitar cover earlier this year.

The first SaGa Frontier title received a remastered release two years ago. SaGa Frontier Remastered features new stories for the game’s protagonist, including new characters such as Fuse. In addition, players will meet a handful of heroes during the quest who each excel in specific skills and abilities.

The game is updated with HD visuals and the option to increase the speed of the gameplay. The developer has also added new events and cutscenes to give returning fans unique adventures.

SaGa Frontier was first released on PlayStation in 1997. Players can assume the role of seven different protagonists and progress the story in a non-linear fashion. The battle system features 2D character sprites on a 3D field and allows players to choose various actions that enable them to learn new abilities during a fight, depending on the weapon they have equipped.

Hopefully, SaGa Frontier 2 also receives the remaster treatment.
