Square Enix Selling $500 Kingdom Hearts III Designed Suitcases; June 2022 Releases
Square Enix has announced new merchandise to celebrate the Kingdom Hearts franchise’s 20-year anniversary. In the anniversary trailer that launched on the day Sora was revealed to be the final DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, 5 types of Kingdom Hearts III-themed suitcases were announced to be in development. Yesterday, Square Enix launched the store pages for these suitcases, with them being themed around Sora, Kairi, Riku, Axel, and King Mickey.
Each suitcase is ¥52,800, roughly $460. Still, with Square Enix store shipping, the actual finalized pricing is more akin to $500. Additionally, each of these items is currently scheduled to release on June 25, 2022. Unfortunately, these products are only available on the Japan store for the time being, but they will likely at least join the North American store lineup in the near future.
