Square Enix Shares Official Guitar Cover of “Force Your Way” from Final Fantasy VIII
Square Enix has uploaded a new official cover on their music YouTube channel. Seiji Igusa arranges and performs “Force Your Way” from Final Fantasy VIII on guitar, initially composed by Nobuo Uematsu. Additionally, Yohei “Billy” Horiuchi recorded and mixed it.
This is arguably one of the most overlooked main battle themes across the Final Fantasy franchise, so it’s neat to see it represented here, especially with a unique ambiance due to the choice of instrument.
You can listen to the guitar cover of “Force Your Way” from Final Fantasy VIII below:
In Final Fantasy VIII, the military nation of Galbadia has declared war on the Dukedom of Dollet, who must hire the mercenary force, SeeD. Players control Squall Leonhart, a new member of SeeD, together with his friends, and Rinoa Heartilly, a member of a resistance group, who get pulled into the war. From then on, the cast embarks on an epic quest to save the world.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
