Square Enix Lists Front Mission 1/72 Scale Mecha For Pre-Order; December 2023 Releases
Square Enix has announced that new Front Mission mecha merchandise is available for pre-order via their online North American storefront. Ordinarily, we’d list each item here and describe them all, but there’s a pretty wild number this time. I’m also admittedly not really into mecha stuff, and I’m sure many of the subtleties present across each product would go over my head.
Regardless, you can view images of each newly available mecha via our gallery below. However, it’s worth noting that assembly and painting are required on the purchaser’s part:
The following 1/72 scale mecha items can be pre-ordered for $22.99 ahead of planned December 2023 shipments:
Lastly, there’s also a 1/72 scale plastic model kit series priced at $89.99, also scheduled for a December 2023 launch. Kyoshun, Hoshun, Meledyne, and Recson are included in this package.
Front Mission 2: Remake will release for Nintendo Switch on June 12, 2023. Check out the latest story trailer.
This title has never been released in the West and is available to oversea fans in an official capacity for the first time. Front Mission 2: Remake occurs 12 years after the second Huffman conflict. The impoverished People’s Republic of Alordesh has suffered a severe economic decline since the war ended. On June 12, 2102, soldiers of the Alordesh Army rose and, led by Ven Mackarge, declared independence from the O.C.U. (Oceania Cooperative Union).
This version of the game will feature:
