Square Enix Confirms E3 Presence; Will Be Announcing Multiple Titles

In a recent interview with the CEO of Square Enix, Yosuke Matsuda, it was revealed that Square Enix would be making themselves known during E3 this June, and they intend on announcing games “one after the other”. This information comes via a translation thread from reputable translator, @aitaikimochi.

The direct, translated quote concerning this news is “Outriders, which was originally delayed, was released on 4/1 and NieR Replicant will be out this month too. FF7R Remake Intergrade is in June. We also have many other games lined up, so please look forward to E3 in June where we can make announcements then!”

Square Enix has not priorly confirmed an E3 presence for this year, so this is a brand new development. Additionally, the publisher and developer will be having another Square Enix Presents sometime this summer. As @aitaikimochi states, this could either be occurring alongside E3 or taking place on its own accord, separate from that upcoming event.

There are several possible announcements one can hope for, such as more potential news on Final Fantasy XVI and the next entry in the Final Fantasy VII Remake series. Considering Square Enix’s other notable IPs like Kingdom Hearts and Dragon Quest, there is undoubtedly going to be quite a bit of ruminating and contemplating for whatever they will announce.
