Square Enix Announces Online Shooter ‘Foamstars’ for PlayStation 4 & 5

During the PlayStation Showcase 2023, developer Square Enix announced a brand-new game called Foamstars, a four-versus four shooter where players have to cover as much turf as possible using their team’s foam color. Furthermore, foam can also be used in multiple ways: To create slippery surfaces that players can use to surf around the arena at high speed; to build terrain, and help players defend from enemy attacks or creating high vantage points to take out opponents.

The trailer showcased many of the characters and their colorful designs, and that it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. No release date was announced, but we’ll keep you updated regarding further developments. New screenshots were also revealed, which you can view in our gallery below:
