Gone Home Developer New Adventure ‘Springs, Eternal’ Launches on Steam This November; New Trailer Streaming Now

Serenity Forge and Fullbright have announced that Springs, Eternal will launch for PC via Steam in November 2026. The first-person narrative exploration game comes from the studio behind Gone Home and Tacoma and takes place at an isolated mountain retreat called Stillwater Springs.

Springs, Eternal uses a dithered, pixelated visual style inspired by PC and console games from the late 1990s. The story begins as the player drives up a mountain road toward Stillwater Springs at dusk. After arriving, you can explore the retreat at night using a flashlight and map while experiencing flashbacks tied to a past romantic relationship.

Several other guests are staying at Stillwater Springs, spread across its pools, saunas, caverns, and grand lodge. Conversations use a branching dialogue system, and interactions with one guest can open additional topics with other characters. Talking with different guests gradually fills in their histories and how they connect to the protagonist’s own past.

Exploration also includes playable vinyl records to collect and locations tied to memories from the protagonist’s former relationship.

Springs, Eternal marks the third collaboration between Serenity Forge and Fullbright, following their previous work supporting Gone Home and Tacoma.

The first playable demo will be available at PAX West and Tokyo Game Show 2026 this month. Attendees at either event will be able to explore several areas of Stillwater Springs and meet some of its guests ahead of the PC release.

What do you think of Springs, Eternal and its late-’90s-inspired presentation? Let us know your thoughts, and stay tuned to Noisy Pixel for more gaming news.
