Visual Novel ‘Spiral Dystopia’ Gets Trailer for Western Release

Kagura Games released the trailer for the LiLim-developed mystery visual novel Spiral Dystopia, coming to PC via Steam and Kagura Games Store in 2023.

Spiral Dystopia has players assume the role of Kou, a descendant of a family that manages a deserted shrine. Kou and his friends are constantly worried about their future. One day, before summer, Kou meets Miyu, a woman with a bamboo sword who is caught wandering around at night.

As Kou approaches her, Miyu tells him she’s searching for a book that is likely hidden in the city, but then they find the book in Kou’s family shrine. When they reach for the book, lightning strikes, and the world goes to hell. Now, he and his childhood friends, Azusa and Yurin, and his best friend, Souma, must figure out the secrets of this book to put a stop to the chaos.

Spiral Dystopia is a visual novel with a few story branches and multiple endings. The game is set in a fantasy world with an adult patch available through Kagura Games Store.
