Spike Chunsoft Hosts European Switch Winter Sale; AI: The Somnium Files, Steins;Gate & More

Spike Chunsoft is currently hosting a Winter sale via the European version of the Nintendo Switch eShop, discounting a plethora of titles until February 20, 2022. Some of the more notable deals are listed below:

Two visual novels now discounted to 60% off each are Robotics;Notes Elite and Robotics;Notes DaSH. These titles are entries in the critically acclaimed Science Adventure series, with Robotics;Notes Elite being the first of this saga of entries and Robotics;Notes DaSH being Elite’s direct sequel. We have reviewed Elite and DaSH back when they simultaneously released as well.

Speaking of Science Adventure titles, Steins;Gate EliteSteins;Gate 0, and Steins;Gate Darling’s Embrace are all each discounted to 60% off. Elite retells the original Steins;Gate visual novel with some alterations, such as the art style being ripped straight from the beloved anime adaption. 0 is quite a spoiler to describe the premise of, but it directly ties into the original Steins;Gate and is best played after having experienced that entry. Lastly, Darling’s Embrace is a spinoff with slapstick, romantic comedy.

Hit visual novel AI: The Somnium Files is on sale for 60% off. This is a detective thriller written by the legendary Kotaro Uchikoshi, known for his work on the Zero Escape franchise. There is also stellar artwork drawn by Yusuke Kozaki, a prominent artist known for their work on No More Heroes and Fire Emblem. Be sure to check out our review of the title back when it was initially released on PlayStation 4.

Also, check out why you should play AI: The Somnium Files ahead of its sequel release later this year.

You can check out the full catalog of discounted titles via Spike Chunsoft’s official website.
