Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Compulsion Games have announced that their third-person action-adventure game South of Midnight will be released for PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 on March 31, 2026. The title is currently available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The game’s digital Weaver Edition includes an art book, soundtrack, Boo-Hag comic book, “Songs & Tales of South of Midnight” music video, and the “Weaving Hazel’s Journey, Director’s Cut” documentary for $39.99.
South of Midnight is a dark, modern folktale set in the American Deep South. Players control Hazel after a hurricane devastates her hometown of Prospero.
Becoming a Weaver, Hazel gains the ability to confront and pacify beings born from regional folklore. She travels across the transformed county, confronting Haints and using weaving magic to restore corrupted entities and mend tears in the Grand Tapestry.
