Soulcalibur VI Sells Over 2 Million Copies Across All Platforms
The official Soulcalibur Twitter account has announced that Soulcalibur VI has sold over 2 million copies. This title is the latest entry in the Soulcalibur series and has players duke it out with various beloved characters.
New battle mechanics serve to make this entry considerably more thrilling for both veterans and newcomers, with Reversasl Edge being one such inclusion. This allows players to counterattack after blocking an opponent’s strike. Additionally, the powered-up state, Soul Charge, lets players deliver a variety of new attacks to turn the tides of battle.
Geralt from The Witcher franchise is also available for play as a guest character, further enhancing the diversity present in the roster. He is even included in the game’s story mode, an unexpected addition for how incredibly well weaved he is into the narrative.
Soulcalibur VI has earned a vast array of fans thanks to its dedication to providing a balanced roster and several mechanics offering considerably employed depth and replayability. The ability to create custom characters in Creation Mode also led to prosperous player activity and plenty of well-deserved popularity. Hopefully, this leads to the series earning more recognition.
