Bandai Namco released a new documentary trailer for their story-based fighter Soulcalibur VI, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19.
Being a follow up to the first part of the documentary titled “Swords and Souls”, this entry has fans discussing the Soulcalibur series and how it has impacted their appreciation for the fighting genre. Also, the top players discuss what’s new about Soulcalibur VI and why this is important to players who will be playing the series for the first time.
Additionally, the documentary takes a look at the game being played in a competitive tournament. This will give players a preview of how top players are approaching the title and its new mechanics.
Soulcalibur VI is a return to the roots for the series. The game includes 2 single player campaigns which include the Libra of Soul campaign where players get to create a character and go on an adventure for Soul Edge shards.

Author’s take: Since I reviewed the game I can tell you that it definitely surprised me in terms of the amount of content in the game and the focus on character development alongside creating a well balanced and impressive fighter.
