Soulcalibur V Base Game + DLC Delisting from PS3 & Xbox 360 June 19

Bandai Namco has announced that their 3D fighter Soulcalibur V will be delisted from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 digital storefronts on June 19, 2023. This delisting applies to both the base game and associated DLC.

Soulcalibur V initially launched for both platforms in 2012 and is pretty well-liked by fans thanks to its gameplay systems. It still features the weapon-based combat the series is known for, with quite a bit of variation depending on positioning and character type. While the latest entry of the series, Soul Calibur VI, has enjoyed strong success, seeing any game delisted is always an unfortunate process.

So, if you want to own this game before it leaves digital entirely, be sure to purchase it and the DLC, if you’d like, by next week.

The tweet announcing this saddening news is viewable below:

Soulcalibur VI is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.

Soulcalibur VI has earned a vast array of fans thanks to its dedication to providing a balanced roster and several mechanics offering considerably employed depth and replayability. The ability to create custom characters in Creation Mode also led to prosperous player activity and plenty of well-deserved popularity. Hopefully, this leads to the series earning more recognition.
