New Soul Hackers Countdown Website Mysteriously Launches; Ends In Roughly 5 Days

A mysterious new website has launched with Sega and Atlus trademarks teasing a new development for the dormant Soul Hackers series. The website itself doesn’t contain much information, merely having a countdown timer and a link to its official Twitter page. Said countdown concludes in roughly 4 days and 2o hours from now.

It is worth noting that Atlus and Sega follow the account, lending credence to its legitimacy. For those unaware, Soul Hackers is a Shin Megami Tensei offshoot that last released for the 3DS, under Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. The most evident hope for this countdown would be a potential new entry. Still, there is too much vague information to form any definitive conclusions.

For now, check out the countdown website for yourself alongside the project’s official Twitter account.

Shin Megami Tensei V 2

Shin Megami Tensei V takes place after a murder occurs in modern-day Tokyo that blocks the game’s protagonist from walking home. The detour may have been due to fate or another force, but he finds himself buried and unconscious.

When he awakens, he finds himself in a new Tokyo, a wasteland after the apocalypse known as Da’at’. He quickly finds out that he’s’ not alone, as demons are closing in on his location. However, a mighty being known as a Nahobino appears and saves him. With this power, the protagonist can venture through Da’at’ and hopefully get some answers about what happened to his former home.

Shin Megami Tensei V is now available for Nintendo Switch.
