Soul Hackers 2 Details Party-Member Specific Dungeons, Axis, Aion Order & More

Atlus has published the fifth volume of their Soul Hackers 2 Summoner’s Guide, detailing the Soul Matrix and Vision Quests.

Beneath where humans reside is Aion’s primary base, the Axis. Its representative, Flamma, can be interacted with in this area. Additionally, character-specific dungeons are available here.

Each party member has their own unique dungeons, with their mental states being depicted too. However, progression is dependent on Ringo’s bonding Soul level with them, which increases from various instances, such as talking to the party at the bar. Further, their pasts will be showcased and unlock Vision Quests which provide a range of gameplay benefits.

Quests players receive in the Axis and complete in the Soul Matrix dungeons are called Aion Order. Several contextual criteria are present throughout these quests, such as collecting specific items or defeating enemies under certain conditions. Moreover, when Soul Levels reach high enough thresholds, Summoner Skills are obtained with many combat-related boons like stat increases or increased efficacy of Sabbaths. Thankfully, these skills can be learned later, so they aren’t wholly off the charts if they’re ignored.

Risky Enemies are a worrisome element that can spawn within these communal areas, as they are considerably stronger than the average foe and can’t be struck on the field. Portals are also shown, essentially waypoints that can teleport the party to select areas within the Soul Matrix.

Ringo then reiterates previously stated information before revealing that if one has already discovered an enemy’s elemental weakness, an assist function can be utilized to quickly access the respectively effective attacks, akin to Persona 5.

Lastly, the game’s official Japanese website has shared screenshots correlating to the summated aforementioned information, viewable below:
