Earlier today, Atlus announced Soul Hackers 2, an upcoming turn-based JRPG that is a sequel to a Shin Megami Tensei spinoff of the same name. A slew of information was revealed alongside the game’s announcement and worldwide August release.
Firstly, the game will be receiving a limited edition in Japan comprising a mascot figurine, physical CD soundtrack, art book, and more. However, there is currently no word on whether the rest of the world will receive this limited edition or any alternative one at all.
Also regarding the exclusive Japan content is a Persona 5 crossover for those who pre-order the title. Outfits for each member of the main cast will change to iconic Phantom Thieves from Persona 5, with the “Keeper of Lust” battle theme from the game also being granted alongside a bonus accessory improving critical hit rate.
Atlus West has announced that the game will have the option to choose between English and Japanese audio, with English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitle options also being selectable, providing greater audience accessibility.
Lastly, the title’s key art has been revealed, viewable below:
Soul Hackers 2 will release on August 26, 2022, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. View the official website for more information.
