Soul Eater Maka Albarn POP UP PARADE Figure Pre-Orders Open

GoodSmile has announced that pre-orders are now available for a POP UP PARADE figure of Maka Albarn, the protagonist from the manga and anime series Soul Eater. Sculpted and painted by Shichibee (Matsuda Model), the pre-order window for this item will cease on September 28, 2023, at 12:00 Japan Standard Time.

You can pre-order the Soul Eater POP UP PARADE Maka figure from GoodSmile’s global online shop for ¥4,800, ahead of a planned February 2024 release, or from GoodSmile’s United States online storefront for $32.99 ahead of an expected Quarter 3 2024 launch.

Published by Square Enix, Soul Eater is a manga series that was penned and drawn by Atsushi Ohkubo starting in 2004 and eventually ending in 2013 after 25 volumes. The story focused on select teams within Death Weapon Meister Academy, comprised of those who transform into weapons and those who wield them. The teams’ initial goal is for their weapons to become a bonafide death scythe by obtaining 99 evil humans and a single witch in that order.

Aside from a highly successful anime adaptation and countless supplemental material across several pieces of media, there was the more middling Soul Eater Not! spinoff that comprised five manga volumes between 2011 and 2014.
