Sony announced the latest titles for PlayStation Plus members for January 2022. The games included are Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5, and Deep Rock Galactic.
Persona 5 Strikers on PS4 is a spin-off of Persona 5 that meshes together the Phantom Thieves with the world of Dynasty Warriors. This title features real-time combat instead of the traditional turn-based system. This action role-playing game takes place half a year after the original events of Persona 5 and is a canon continuation of the original story. Please read our review of Persona 5 Strikers here.
Dirt 5 on PS4 and PS5 is an off-road racing game featuring an iconic roster of vehicles with over 70 tracks spread across ten global locations. In addition, the game features a career mode, four-player split-screen co-op, online multiplayer, creative mode, and more. Read our review of Dirt 5 here.
Deep Rock Galactic on PS4 and PS5 is a 1-4 player cooperative first-person shooter that pits you as a space dwarf mining for precious minerals in a planet filled with dangerous and menacing bugs. The game features 100% destructible environments, procedurally generated maps, and multiple mission types and classes to choose from.
The PlayStation V.R. titles available from November and December are still available before the new year. Those games are The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Until You Fall. They are available until Monday, January 3, 2022.
The PlayStation Plus January lineup of games will be available to claim and play on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Therefore, if you haven’t claimed December’s lineup of games, you have until Monday, January 3, 2022, to do so.
