Sony announced the latest titles for PlayStation Plus members for December 2021. The games included are Godfall: Challenger Edition, Lego DC Super-Villains, Mortal Shell.
Godfall: Challenger Edition on PS4 & PS5 is a multiplayer looter slasher set in a high fantasy setting. It is important to note that the Challenger Edition is a “trial” version of the game and does not contain the base game’s campaign. Instead, the Challenger Edition focuses on three end-game modes: Lightbringer, Dreamstones, and the Ascended Tower of Trials. Players will start already at max level and equipped with end-game gear. Players can upgrade at any time to the Deluxe Edition of the game to gain access to the Godfall and Fire & Darkness DLC campaigns.
Lego DC: Super-Villains on PS4 is an action-adventure platform game set in the DC universe where the Justice League has disappeared. Players can customize and create their own super-villain to join other iconic super-villains such as The Joker and Harley Quinn to become the “Justice Syndicate” and take on another group of wannabe superheroes.
Mortal Shell on PS4 is a single-player action RPG that takes on the Souls-like formula. Players take on one of four “shells” to take on a shattered world where humanity has withered, and dangerous foes remain. It’s a solid game to keep you busy in time for Elden Ring. Be sure to check out our review for Mortal Shell as well.
The PlayStation V.R. titles available from November are still available throughout December. Those games are The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and Until You Fall. They are available until Monday, January 3, 2022.
