Sony Confirmed to be Closing the PlayStation 3, PSP and PS Vita Stores This Summer

Today, Sony has officially announced the PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS Vita stores’ upcoming closures. The PlayStation 3 and PSP stores will be closing on July 2, while the PS Vita store will be closing on August 27.

Customers can still redownload priorly purchased titles on these 3 platforms. However, attempting to purchase products on these platforms after the stores’ closures is obviously impossible.

You can read more details of these store closings on PlayStation’s official site here.
