Sega has announced that the Puyo Puyo Content Drop update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will become available on May 27, 2026, at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.
Players can anticipate Arle becoming a playable character, alongside the addition of the Twinkle Bayoen vehicle. Further, the Puyo Puyo Festival will run from May 28 at 5 PM PT/ 8 PM ET to May 31 at the same time.
Throughout Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, players can build and customize their machines, unlock gadgets, and unleash power-ups solo or with friends in multiple offline and online modes. Cross-platform matchmaking enables up to 12 racers to compete simultaneously, regardless of their platform.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.
