Sega has announced that the Pac-Man DLC Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released on January 7, 2026.
Players can anticipate new playable characters and much more, with more details to be revealed closer to launch.
Players can build and customize their machines, unlock gadgets, and unleash power-ups solo or with friends in multiple offline and online modes. Cross-platform matchmaking enables up to 12 racers to compete simultaneously, regardless of their platform.
The roster includes various Sonic characters, with more to be added through free post-launch updates, such as Joker, Kasuga Ichiban, and Hatsune Miku.
At launch, the game features several modes: Grand Prix with multiple cups, World Match ranked online battles, customizable Friend Matches, Time Trials, and the party-focused Race Park. Local split-screen multiplayer supports up to four players, while full online matchmaking supports up to twelve. A new Rival System assigns rivals who taunt across Grand Prix events.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.
