New Sonic Origins Gameplay Surfaces; Drop Dash, Super Sonic in First Game & More Revealed

A brand new video of Sonic Origins has been uploaded by a Korean fan on Youtube, showcasing more gameplay elements that Sega has not highlighted in marketing so far. Sonic fansite Tails Channel clarifies this footage is from the South Korean convention RULICON. However, it is vital to note that this revealed gameplay footage and information has not been officially confirmed yet.

Throughout this minute-long video, the Drop Dash mechanic originating from Sonic Mania is shown to be present alongside Super Sonic implementation in the first game. For those unaware, Super Sonic first appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The well-known Hidden Palace is then highlighted in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, with Tails being Knuckles’ sidekick. Lastly of note, aside from some teases of the soundtrack, is more of the mission menu UI.
