Sonic Origins’ 3 & Knuckles Not Using Original Release Sounds; Jun Senoue Adapting via Genesis Soundchip
The latest Sonic Official live stream has confirmed that the upcoming version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles releasing via Sonic Origins will not be using the complete original sounds, though Jun Senoue has been “working really hard to adapt the original music that was composed in 1993.” Senoue is working on reproducing the original soundtrack with the Sega Genesis sound chip, aiming to make the sounds as faithful to the original release as possible.
