Publisher 2P Games and developer DreamStep have released their latest title, Songs of Life, a card-driven narrative adventure now available on PC via Steam for $8.99. For the next two weeks, players can grab it at a 15% discount.

Set in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, Songs of Life weaves a mystery-driven story around a deadly epidemic that has left the land in turmoil. Players will follow three renowned physicians—Hua Tuo, Zhang Zhongjing, and Dong Feng—each from different backgrounds, as they attempt to uncover the truth behind the calamities plaguing the Three Kingdoms. Their journey is fraught with sorrow and sacrifice, as they navigate a world dominated by warlords like Cao Cao and Yuan Shao in search of answers.

A Narrative-Driven Mystery with Interactive Puzzles

At the heart of Songs of Life is a system of interactive cards that players use to investigate the epidemic and its origins. Along the way, they will meet and treat afflicted patients, each encounter bringing them closer to identifying the mastermind behind the crisis. Mini-games and puzzles serve as key mechanics for piecing together clues and progressing through the story.

The game offers an alternate take on the Three Kingdoms era, blending historical figures and events with deep storytelling and strategic gameplay. Players will switch perspectives between the three protagonists, making key decisions, unlocking notes, and slowly unraveling the grand conspiracy behind the epidemic.

A new launch trailer showcases the game’s striking art style, historical setting, and the various ways players will interact with its mystery-driven narrative.
