Song of Memories Delayed in the West on PS4 and Switch “Not Related to Platform Holders”
PQube released a statement about the Pure Wish developed visual novel Song of Memories.
Evidentally, after development complication, the publisher has to delay the game in the west and it won’t hit its 2018 release window The developer also states that this is not related to any requests from the platform holders, which is a recent common theme with these types of games coming west on PS4. Recently the publisher had to cancel publishing a title due at the request of Sony.
The studio will update fans on a new release date, but for now, they just give a 2019 release window.
You can read the full statement below:
We are very sorry to announce that Song of Memories will be delayed to 2019. While we had hoped to bring you the game this year, we have seen unexpected development issues that are not related in any way to the platform holders. We are doing our best to bring you the game as early as possible and we will communicate a release date in the new year.
