Song of Horror Reveals PS4 and Xbox One Release Date Set for May
Raiser Games and Protocol Games announced that their survival horror adventure, Song of Horror, will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 28, 2021.
“We,ve always been incredibly humbled by the reception Song of Horror received from PC players, and now’s the time to drag console players into the brooding mystery the game has to offer,” says studio co-founder Carlos Grupeli. “The survival-horror genre has such a long & rich history on both PlayStation and Xbox that it feels like absolutely the right home for our little ode to all that has gone before to an audience that truly appreciates real scares.”
Song of Horror released in episodes on PC-via Steam and has delayed the console version to this date to deliver the best experience to players.
The console version of the game will launch as the complete version. Each chapter takes players through a nightmarish setting inspired by some of the most popular survival horror franchises. The enemies in the game also learn and react to player’s moves, which makes things, even more, heart racing.
The publisher also released a new trailer to highlight the updated release date and show off some gameplay. It may not be October, but survival horror is still in a genre we’ll make time for.
