SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy Will be at EVO 2018 to Announce New Character
NIS America announced they will be setting up a booth at EVO 2018 for event goers to play the SNK developed fighting game SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy, coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on September 7.
During the show, fans will be able to get their hands on the launch day build of the game at the NISA booth, located in the middle of the exhibit hall.
This will be the first time that players will have access to the most recently announced characters as well as a brand new character that the publisher plans to reveal during the event. As to who the character is, the studio gives a hint that she is a “Fatal Cutie”. Some fans seems to think that the rumored last character is a female version Terry, a popular male character from the series.
Additionally, the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will also be playing for players to play some of the more retro SNK titles including, Crystalis and Ikari Warriors.
EVO 2018 is going to be hosted at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 3 – 5.
Author’s take: Hopefully SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy gains a large enough following to last past the “this is just a fan service game” stage. Due to the game’s content there’s a chance that fans will enjoy it for the first month and slowly pick up other fighting games.
