Retro Fighter ‘SNK Gals’ Fighters’ Launches on Switch in the West

SNK announced that their all heroine fighter SNK Gals’ Fighters, is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop in the west.

SNK Gals’ Fighters brings a roster of female heroines together to fight it out to see who is the true Queen of Fighters. The game also features a lighthearted storyline that is full of comical moments and unique situations between the characters.

SNK Gals’ Fighters features a roster of 11 heroines with 3 being secret characters as players fight to discover the identity of Miss X. By now, I’m sure all fans know who it is. Regardless, the game also includes a Training Mode to practice your moves and master the skills of these female fighters. Additionally, players will be able to fight in a co-op mode against local opponents.

SNK Gals’ Fighters also features a Neo Geo overlay to pay tribute to the game’s original release as players can experience the title in its known resolution. The game features pixel-like character designs for the roster as well as a localized story for players to fight their way through.

The developer also released a few gameplay trailers for players to see the characters in action. Not much has changed graphically as it seems the team wanted to preserve the same sound and look as the original.
