SNK 40th Anniversary Collection Gets a PlayStation 4 Release Date

NIS America announced that the SNK retro collection SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will launch on PlayStation 4 on March 19.

Originally released as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, this collection brings over 20 retro games from the SNK retro library of games including popular games such as Ikari Warriors and Crystalis. However, the collection also includes many titles that SNK fans might have missed. There’s also the argument that these games can now be experienced by a new generation of gamers for years to come who otherwise might have never heard about these titles.

The game features a rewind feature that allows players to rewind the action to a safer point as well as a help mode where the computer AI will take over and show you how you can get through some of the areas safely. Additionally, there’s a Museum Mode where players play to get a detailed look at the game’s and their promotional material.

In case you want to know more, we reviewed the game and thought it was a great collection of retro titles.
