Smelter Forged in Hell Now Available; Overworld Strategy Removal Option & Boss Rush Added

Publisher Dangen Entertainment has announced that Smelter Forged in Hell is now available, adding Action Mode and Boss Rush. The former replaces the Overworld Strategy sections with stage selection, while the latter mode is self-explanatory.

The stream announcing this update is viewable below:

Throughout this title, players control Eve, who embarks on a journey to find Adam and meets a mysterious being named “Smelter.” After forming a quick agreement and fusing with Smelter to gain immense power, Eve agrees to help expand his empire to help find Adam.

The game synergizes real-time strategy and 2D platforming stages in a rotation between strategy and action stages. Players control Smelter, who can fly, shoot and destroy enemies and obstacles while giving commands to his troops to expand territory, build structures and unleash attack units against enemy monsters in various regions. Once players progress through the game, players can control Eve, who plays similarly to a standard 2D platformer.

Smelter is currently available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One.
