EastAsiaSoft announced they will publish the Studio HG and Platinum Rocket-developed action beat’em up Smashing the Battle: Ghost Soul physically on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in November 2021.
The game’s physical version will be available for pre-order at Play Asia and will feature test options for English, French, German, Japanese, and Korean. Further, this version will feature all of the content for the original game plus the new Ghost Soul sequel set in 2086 AD, which is one year after the incident involving Sarah O’Connell. In addition, players will find more content in the form of challenge levels and customizable suit options.
Smashing the Battle: Ghost Soul was initially released on PC-via Steam in 2016 and has since made its way digitally to PS4 and Switch. Players take on the role of four characters across a story that connects them. Each character performs differently in combat with unique abilities and fight styles. The replayability comes from taking on stages again for higher scores.
The physical edition will go on sale on August 12 at 8 am PT. There are 2000 Limited Edition available for Switch and 1000 available for PS4. Standard copies will be available for Switch.
We’ll keep you updated on other physical releases from EastAsiaSoft in the future.
