Bokeh Game Studio has revealed a new teaser image for its upcoming action horror game, Slitterhead. No details on the depicted character were shared, but the team also announced that Slitterhead would be playable behind closed doors at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, between August 21 and August 25, 2024.
Further, a playable public demo will be available at PAX West in Seattle, Washington, between August 29 and September 2, 2024.
Slitterhead occurs in Kowlong, a locale of chaos where players control the Hyoki. This entity has no memory or physical form, with its only purpose being to eradicate the monsters known as Slitterheads that disguise themselves as humans. Human allies, known as Rarities, are crucial for this endeavor, with the powers of blood determining the outcome of battles.
Taking control of human bodies enables slipping through barriers, taking on specific identities, infiltrating certain areas, and swift traversal via switching hosts. Burning human life force transforms blood into weapons.

Slitterhead will be released on November 8, 2024, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
