Neowiz and SouthPAW Games have announced that their action roguelite Skul: The Hero Slayer has sold over two million units worldwide. This sales milestone takes PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One all into account.
Further, Skul: The Hero Slayer has achieved over 41,000 Steam user reviews, with 93% being positive. It is also “the first Korean indie game to surpass the remarkable milestone of 1 million copies in sales within its inaugural year of release.”
To commemorate this feat, Skul: The Hero Slayer is 50% off on PC via Steam until January 4, 2024.
The title recently received The Demon King Castle Defense and Mythology Pack DLC content.
Demon King Castle Defense is an expansive major free content update with new battles and challenges, while the Mythology Pack is the game’s first paid DLC. Five new playable characters inspired by several mythologies will be granted, “20 new items related to their mythological origins, and a brand-new inscription.”
Skul: The Hero Slayer is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
