Skul: The Hero Slayer Receives Major Content Update Available Now

Neowiz released a new update for the SouthPAW Games-developed roguelike action game Skul: The Hero Slayer on PC via Steam.

The update adds two new skulls, The Wizard and Davy Jones, along with three new items:

  • Dawn of the Crimson Sun
  • Dawn of the Argent Moon
  • Magical Staff

Additionally, players will find some changes have been made to the gameplay:

  • Change in skills related to “freeze” and “stun” – for the purpose of balance
  • Changed the boss’s system of resistance against the status effect
  • Changed the effect of “Synergy Zero” Inscription

Bug fixes have also been added to better player experience.

Skul: The Hero Slayer is currently 40% off until August 10, 2022.

The console release for this update has not been provided at this time.

Skul: The Hero Slayer currently boasts an overall very positive rating on Steam across 10,000 reviews. The exciting new content released from the title officially leaving beta is also another factor as to how it is garnering these numbers and a substantial number of positive reviews from both critics and fans alike.
