Neowiz announced that a major update has been added to the SouthPAW Games-developed roguelike action game Skul: The Hero Slayer, available now on PC-via Steam.
After selling over 200k copies on Steam, the developer has plans for a few content updates. The first is available now, which adds 38 new playable items, some of which are particularly unique and will only activate when certain conditions are met, such as defeating a boss or special enemy. Further, there are 7 new Inscriptions added that will lead players to some tough battles.
Also, a new NPC known as the Grave Robber will appear in the Black Market. He’ll accept Dark Quartz as payment to unlock some of the new items.
“We’ve been working hard to create more content for Skul, and we can’t wait to see what our community thinks of the additions,” said Sang Woo Park, CEO of SouthPAW Games. “This update is only a starting point, though, as we plan on making a lot of cool and exciting things as 2021 rambles on.”
Skul: The Hero Slayer currently boasts an overall very positive rating on Steam across 10,000 reviews. The exciting new content released from the title officially leaving beta is also another factor as to how it is garnering these numbers and a substantial number of positive reviews from both critics and fans alike.
