Skul: The Hero Slayer Launches Second Half of Dead Cells Crossover and Adds 9 New Skulls
Publisher NEOWIZ and developer SouthPAW Games have announced that their indie roguelike hit Skul: The Hero Slayer has just launched the most significant update since its release in January.
The developer revealed that players will find the free update adds 9 new skulls to the game and The King, an upgraded version of The Prisoner from Dead Cells. The character makes a return for the second half of the Dead Cells crossover event.
Further, 3 Quintessence have been added (think unique spells that Skul can obtain), and the already-existing Quintessence have been overhauled with new visual effects. Two new types of special event maps have been added, and 5 New NPCs have been welcomed to the throng of characters players can meet throughout the Skul campaign.
Skul: The Hero Slayer currently boasts an overall very positive rating on Steam across 10,000 reviews. The exciting new content released from the title officially leaving beta is another factor in garnering these numbers and a substantial number of positive reviews from both critics and fans alike.
We’ll keep you updated on the post-launch updated for Skul: The Hero Slayer. The game is also planning a console release soon.
