Shoot ‘Em Up ‘Sisters Royale’ Gets Physical Western Release on Switch and PS4 From Strictly Limited Games
Strictly Limited Games announced they will publish a physical release of the Alfa System-developed shoot ’em up, Sisters Royale: Five Sisters Under Fire on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Pre-orders for the release will open on February 23 where fans can pre-order either version of the game. There will also be a limited edition available for both versions of the game, but contents will be revealed at a later date.
Being the first new shoot ’em up from the developer in 12 years, Sisters Royale: Five Sisters Under Fire tells the story of five sisters who each have magical abilities. The game closely resembles one of the developer’s previous releases, Castle of Shikigami. The shoot ’em up elements in the game are difficult and take skill, but there are difficulty options for those who wish for a more casual shmup experience, or at least as casual as a shmup can possibly get.
The publisher mentions that Sisters Royale: Five Sisters Under Fire is a spiritual successor to previous games from the developer. It features a “tongue-in-cheek” storyline that players of light-hearted anime and manga will enjoy.
Sisters Royale: Five Sisters Under Fire is available now on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on January 30, 2020.
