Pokelabo and Nexon have opened pre-registration for the mobile fantasy RPG, SINoALICE, on iOS in the west, to join the previously opened Android version.
iOS players can now pre-register and prepare for the game’s official July 1 global release. The publisher announced that over 1.5 million players have already pre-registered for the Google Play Store version, which also gives players a variety of bonuses at launch.
Additionally, the game will launch with a NieR: Automata event, with a second event for NieR Replicant, also planned. Yoko Taro himself has written the NieR: Automata event as well as a scenario in the NieR Replicant event.
Last year, the game was delayed in the west after the team took to the game’s Facebook page to reveal that they ran some quality checks on the English version and realized that the localization wasn’t anywhere near acceptable. This caused the team to hold off on the game’s localization.
SINoALICE is a retelling of classic fairy tales set in a fantasy world created by none other than Yoko Taro, who served as creative director on the project. The game follows several characters based on fairy tales as they must work together to fight enemies and solve puzzles in order to save the storytellers that created their world.
