Yoko Taro’s ‘SINoALICE’ Surpasses 2 Million Pre-Registrations and Details NieR Crossover Event Ahead of July 1 Launch

Pokelabo announced this morning that the mobile RPG SINoALICE has surpassed 2 million pre-registrations as it gears up for its July 1 launch on iOS and Android in the west.

Additionally, the publisher revealed that the NieR: Automata and NieR RepliCant crossover event will begin on July 16. The event will see 2B and 9S arrive in the world of SINoALICE and clash with the amusement park boss Beauvoir. Furthermore, on August 6, the event continues with an original story featuring Young Nier, Kaine, and Emil, bringing time-limited character classes into thrilling real-time combat.

Last year, the game was delayed in the west after the team took to the game’s Facebook page to reveal that they ran some quality checks on the English version and realized that the localization wasn’t anywhere near acceptable. This caused the team to hold off on the game’s localization.

SINoALICE is a retelling of classic fairy tales set in a fantasy world created by none other than Yoko Taro, who served as creative director on the project. The game follows several characters based on fairy tales as they must work together to fight enemies and solve puzzles in order to save the storytellers that created their world.
